Where Did I First Try Houston’s veggie burger?

I first tried Houston’s Veggie Burger when I visited one of their chain shop in Texas. I was looking for something to satisfy my cravings for a burger and I saw this one on the menu. The colors of the ingredients caught my eye and made me curious about it.

So, I decided to try it out and ended up being surprised by its flavourful taste. Since then, Houston’s veggie burger has been one of my favorite dishes and I have tried to recreate it several times at home.

However, the taste of this burger was so good that I decided to try to make it at home. After researching, I finally got the recipe and tried to recreate it with some minor tweaks.

Ingredients

Hickory barbecue sauce: 4 tablespoons of BBQ sauce is essential for the flavor of this veggie burger.

Molasses: 1 tablespoon of molasses adds a rich, sweet taste that is irresistible.

Egg white: 1 egg white to bind the ingredients together and make them easier to shape into patties.
