So, I created this recipe for those who don’t know what they are craving for but want something delicious to eat. This recipe is so easy and quick that you can whip up a plate of deliciousness in no time.

Ingredients

  • 4 – 6 chicken breasts
  • 2 Tbsp garlic
  • 1 piece shredded carrots, minced
  • 1 large onion
  • 4 – 6 dash Worcestershire sauce
  • 8 oz sliced mushrooms
  • 1 bottle of fat-free zesty Italian dressing
  • 2 – 3 dash liquid smoke flavoring
  • 1 – 2 bay leaves

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Now, generously season each chicken breast with salt and pepper, then place in a greased baking dish.

Step 2

In a large skillet over medium heat, sauté the onion until it is soft and translucent. Then add the carrots, mushrooms, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and liquid smoke flavoring. Sauté for another few minutes until the vegetables are softened.

Step 3

Pour the vegetable mixture over the chicken breasts in the baking dish, then pour the Italian dressing on top of everything. Place the bay leaves on top of each breast.

Step 4

At this point, you have to bake uncovered in preheated oven for 35 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.

Step 5

Now, remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve this dish with your favorite sides with your family.

Tips

  • If you don’t have Italian dressing on hand, you can use ranch dressing instead.
  • You can also add other vegetables to this dish such as bell peppers, celery, or zucchini.
