Ingredients

Water: Water serves as the liquid base for the dressing. It helps achieve the desired consistency and ensures that the other ingredients can be evenly mixed to create a cohesive dressing.

Cornstarch: Cornstarch is a thickening agent used to give the dressing the desired viscosity. It helps create a smooth and pourable consistency, preventing the ingredients from separating.

White/Cider Vinegar: Vinegar adds acidity and tanginess to the dressing. It not only enhances the overall flavor but also acts as a natural preservative, extending the shelf life of the dressing.

Margarine/Butter: Margarine or butter provides richness and a smooth mouthfeel to the dressing. It adds a velvety texture and contributes to the overall flavor profile.

Onion Powder: Onion powder contributes a savory and oniony flavor to the dressing without the texture of raw onions. It adds depth and complexity to the overall taste.

Sugar: Sugar adds sweetness to balance the acidity from the vinegar. It helps round out the flavors and provides a pleasant contrast to the savory and tangy elements in the dressing.

Celery Salt: Celery salt adds a savory and salty flavor with a hint of celery. It contributes to the overall seasoning profile, enhancing the taste of the dressing.

Celery Seeds: Celery seeds add a subtle celery flavor and a bit of texture to the dressing. They contribute to the overall complexity of the flavor profile.

Salt: Salt is a fundamental seasoning that enhances the flavors of the dressing. It balances the sweetness and acidity, ensuring a well-rounded taste.

Black Pepper: Black pepper adds a hint of spiciness and warmth to the dressing. It complements the other seasonings and enhances the overall taste.
