How to make Arby’s mac and cheese?

Arby’s mac and cheese is a comfort food everyone loves, and you can make it even better by adding some delicious ingredients to the mix.

Making Arby’s mac and cheese is easy and only requires a few ingredients. To help you recreate this delicious dish at your own home, I have included all the necessary ingredients and step-by-step processes below.

I usually make this recipe on the stovetop, but you could also use the oven if you prefer.

What types of ingredients do you need?

The principal ingredients for this dish are cheese, flour, pasta and spices.

Cheese

It is important to choose the right cheese for this recipe. Tillamook White Cheddar and Milano’s Romano cheeses are recommended by Arby’s. I use in my recipe these recommended cheeses.

The cheddar has a mild flavor that pairs well with the other ingredients, while the Romano adds a bit of sharpness when melted into the dish.

Flour

All-purpose flour is used to thicken the cheese sauce, which binds all of the other ingredients together.

Pasta

Arby recommends Elbows Enriched Macaroni Pasta for this recipe, but any type of elbow macaroni will work.

Seasonings

Garlic powder, onion powder, white ground pepper and salt are all added to give flavor to the dish and enhance the cheese’s flavor.

Heavy Cream

This adds a creamy texture to the dish that helps bring out all the flavors from each ingredient.

Water

Water is necessary for boiling pasta and should be seasoned with salt for the best results. This helps give the pasta more flavor and ensures it does not stick together in clumps.

Cream Cheese

You need to add cream cheese to the sauce for extra creaminess, which also helps bind the cheese sauce together. Additionally, it adds a slightly tangy flavor that pairs well with the other ingredients.

These are all ingredients needed to make Arby’s Mac and Cheese.

You can also serve it as a side dish alongside fish, roasted vegetables, salads, or soups. For something a little lighter, top your Arby’s mac and cheese with cooked spinach leaves and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese for added flavor.

If you like a bit of crunch to your meals, consider adding crumbled bacon or chopped nuts on top before serving. No matter what you decide to serve with it, Arby’s mac and cheese is sure to be the star of the show!

How to store leftover Arby’s mac and cheese?

It is easy to store the leftover Arby’s mac and cheese. Simply place any leftovers in an airtight container and store them in the refrigerator for up to four days.

Reheat in the microwave or on the stovetop with a splash of milk or cream to get it back to its creamy, cheesy goodness.

For best results, do not freeze Arby’s mac and cheese, as this will cause it to lose its flavor and texture.
